The buffone is gone as the prime minister of Italy! This in itself is good news! However, he is still around and has, obviously, vowed to be more active than ever. Although some believe that he gave into pressure in the corridors of Barroso and Van Rompuy then the triggering event was a motion on new austerity measures in one of the two italian chambers.

The buffone noted down on a piece of paper that there were eight ‘traitors’ forcing him to eventually step down. There are of course more ‘heroes’ than ‘traitors’. However they can never be considered full-fledged heroes considering that it took 17 years of Buffone in Italian politics and running the country down the drain, before they decided to turn their back on him! Hardly heroic behaviour although much better than the more than 300 senators who did not turn their back on him!

Don’t forget to consult the list of Buffone culprits and accomplices here on this very site.

The eight showing minimum responsibility were Roberto Antonione, Fabio Gava, Giustina Destro, Misto Calogero Mannino, Giancarlo Pittelli, Luciano Sardelli, Francesco Stagno D’Alcontres e Santo Versace.
